A night for the (natural) history books

Big, bold and buzzing! Last night, Creative HEAD’s It List and Most Wanted Awards returned to the awe-inspiring surroundings of London’s Natural History Museum, with over six-hundred of the industry’s most talented hairdressers gathering for a celebration like no other.

The evening fizzed with glamour and excitement from the off, with anticipation reaching fever pitch as the doors of the venue swung open shortly after 7pm. The irrepressible Jack Whitehall soon had guests from up and down the country in stitches as he doled out accolades in the shadow of Dippy the dinosaur (“Ugh! For the next few hours, I have a prime view of a dinosaur’s anus,” he quipped), while emotional speeches from this year’s champions were greeted with standing ovations.

On the 15th anniversary of Most Wanted (and the sixth outing for the It List), the overarching theme of the landmark night was gratitude. Mentors visibly swelled with pride as rising stars took to the stage, whooping salon teams united with genuine camaraderie and humbled hairdressing greats praising the vibrant, innovative, compassionate and fun-loving family that is the hair industry.
