The 41st show – entitled Tapestry – included the International Visionary Awards

The 41st Alternative Hair Show (AHS) has raised a whopping £121,000 for Fighting Leukaemia.
The live extravaganza, titled ‘Tapestry’, saw an array of inspiring, innovative hair artists showcase their exceptional talent, as well as 51 hopeful finalists, and their models, compete for the globally renowned International Visionary Award.
Long-time AHS supporter Linda Evans opened the evening, welcoming all guests, before founder of the AHS, Tony Rizzo, and AHS president, Anthony Mascolo, emerged to host the show. Each AHS Artist was presented with a trophy, acknowledging their hard work, followed by an announcement that hairdressing legend Trevor Sorbie MBE is the new Worldwide Honorary Patron of the AHS.
The International Visionary Awards kicked off the show, while artistic show teams featured on the night included presentations from Saco, Sanrizz and the Trevor Sorbie Creative Team.
