CHM x BaByliss PRO -Recreate Richard Phillipart’s ‘Non-binary’ look

“Cool, urban and non-binary, this style plays with essences of masculine and feminine hair and attitude”

Step 1

I attached extensions around the hairline at the back of the head and used a hairdryer on the cold setting to quickly fix the glue.

Step 2

I braided the hair at the back of the head, securing with black elastic. This was to give a tight head shape and to reduce the weight of the natural hair at the back.

Step 3

Hair is completely saturated with a volumizing mousse and worked through.

Step 4

Using curl clips to secure, sections of hair are moulded to the desired shape and movement.

Step 5

Dry hair completely using a diffuser attachment.

Step 6

To further accentuate the head shape and boost the visual aesthetic, I randomly placed Japanese hair grips then applied plenty of shine spray to create a wet-look finish and a pomade around the hairline for extra definition.

Final look!
