Bespoke Destination, a wellness focused hair salon in rural south-west Ireland, has unveiled its own brand of âbespoke and empowering educationâ.
Open to independent salons as well as stylists across Ireland and the UK, learning will take place at the private salon site in Mitchelstown to provide one-to-one upskilling support. The launch is an important step in making professional hair education more accessible for Irish salon teams and individuals beyond the hair hub of Dublin.
Bespoke Destination has already kicked off its teaching with an interactive masterclass hosted by global hair cutting educator, Ben Brown. Other plans for the salon include an oncology and aesthetics wig clinic and an education session delivered by London mainstay hair salon, Not Another Salon.
Deirdre OâSullivan, owner of Bespoke Destination said: âAs an industry, it is important that we work together to upskill and continue to deliver the highest standards. As hairdressers, we need to share best practice, build up a peer community and learn from each other.â
Ben Brown added: âBespoke Hair is in such a beautiful setting overlooking the mountains. The ethos of the salon is all about wellbeing, and that shines through from the moment you step inside the door. It was a wonderful, interactive day. I really enjoyed working with all the participants. In my view, small independent salons like Bespoke Hair deliver equivalent and, in some cases, higher standards of cutting expertise than many of the top name UK salons.â
