Ten UK colourists have enjoyed a day with super colourist Josh Wood, following Wella Professionals’ Up Close and Personal competition.
The competition celebrated the launch of Colour Couture by Wella Professionals and each entrant was required to share how they deliver Colour Couture in the salon.
The winners began the day at Josh Wood’s Atelier salon in Notting Hill, London for breakfast with the global creative director for Wella Professionals. The group was then whisked away to a meet and greet with artist Andrew Salgado at his Hoxton gallery. Andrew explained the importance of using quality products to produce premium results and that consultation is key to ensure your client falls in love with the end result.
The afternoon saw Toby Vogler, studio leader for Wella Professionals present Couture Colour by Wella Professionals, sharing the important three factors: Consultation, Couture Colour Products and Client Experience.
The day ended with Kathy Philips, a former Vogue beauty director and Camilla Norton, author of How To Walk in High Heels share with the winners an insight into their couture world.
The winning 10 left with a Wella Professionals Couture Colour bible, 100 Works of Art book featuring works from Andrew Salgado, signed by Josh Wood, and an exclusive goodie bag.
