Every year, Creative HEAD’s Most Wanted awards bring together industry innovators, superstars, and tastemakers to celebrate the most exciting, progressive, and game-changing hair talents in British and Irish hairdressing. Most Wanted Hair Icon is one of 16 trophies waiting to be claimed, and it’s the mightiest of them all – bestowed upon the most influential hair professional of the year.
It’s not possible to enter Hair Icon – instead, we tasked dozens of experts working in hair, beauty, fashion, business, and the media, to cast their votes. And the votes have been counted!

But that’s not all. Our nominees are now being called upon to submit entries for judging by a separate panel of experts, who will each provide a final set of scores, ultimately determining the Hair Icon victor.
Together with all our 2023 finalists, the Hair Icon winner will be named at the Most Wanted and It List Grand Final, taking place on Monday 4 September at Tate Modern in London.
