The prettiest hairstyle from Paris Couture Week is guaranteed to be a hit with your bridal clients this summer
Couture week is old school fashion, but in the best possible way. There are no trendy trainers or cool tracksuits here – it’s chic, glamorous and impossibly luxurious. And the hair follows this lead, with beautiful updos setting the bar for the most covetable wedding and special occasion styles over the next year.
The standout look this couture week was, without doubt, Rodarte, which brought floral crowns back from the brink of basic, and offered a (baby’s) breath of fresh air to summer styling. Odile Gilbert headed up the hair team for Bumble and bumble, creating a look that was youthful, sweet and totally at one with nature.
Step 1: Prepare damp hair using Bb. Don’t Blow It Thick and Bb. Surf Infusion, and blow dry using a diffuser.
Step 2: Use Bb. Does It All from the lengths to the roots to add shape and give hold.
Step 3: Add an assortment of ribbons, metal bows and baby’s breath flowers throughout the lengths using bobby pins to secure. Don’t worry about this being neat – keep it light and organic.
