MWIT23 GRAND FINAL
THE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW!
Need an assistance? Running late? Reach us on the day of the event by texting Laura MacLeod on 07795 840321
☔ WEATHER WATCH! ☔
Please check the weather forecast for rain and if it’s looking likely please bring an umbrella and show up as close to 7.30pm as possible as we won’t, unfortunately, be able to let you in before that time and there is very little shelter outside.
KEY DETAILS
- Location: Tate Modern, Bankside, London SE1 9TG. Admittance at the Turbine Hall Entrance for 2023’s hottest event!
- Doors will open at 7.30pm, make sure you arrive on the dot to make the most of mingling at the reception (trust us you don’t want to miss the bites and bevvies either), it’s only on until 8pm
- Last entry at 8.00pm – no admittance before or after these times, we mean it!
- No need for a wallet! All food and drink is included in your ticket price. That’s canapés, cocktails, mocktails and prosecco at the reception, a two-course dinner with wine or soft drinks, and afterparty bar with a special selection of nightcaps
- Take your place – the Grand Final is a seated event. Seating plans will be displayed during the reception
- Dress code: The only rule is don’t be boring. AKA your individual style at its most magnificent – have a flick through the gallery at the end for some outfit inspo from last year’s Grand Final. Oh and be camera ready, you might just get snapped!
- Tag us! Want to feature on our social channels? Then don’t forget to tag us in all your Grand Final snaps using @creativeheadmag #MWIT23
PLANNING AHEAD
- Don’t get stuck, plan your route to the Grand Final ahead of the date. There is no parking at Tate Modern or the surrounding streets but there’s a drop off/pick up point on Holland Street, close to the Turbine Hall entrance
- Public transport is the easiest way of getting to the Tate Modern. Nearest Tube stations are: Blackfriars (District and Circle lines) 8-minute walk; Southwark (Jubilee line) 9-minute walk; St Paul’s (Central line) 15-minute walk
- Fight for the right to after-party! The ceremonies are due to conclude at midnight – dance the night away thereafter, and until the event closes at 1.30am
- Whatever your intended departure time, our advice is to arrange in advance your journey home (anything to avoid long Uber waits…)
TICKETS & ENTRY
- Please be sure to remember your ticket and have it ready at the door to be let in. Everyone must carry their own ticket, tickets will not be held at the door for others
- Once inside the venue, guests will be ushered into two queues for Creative HEAD’s ticket checks. If your ticket states ‘FINALIST’ on the reverse, please use the relevant queue
- Listen up finalists, this one’s aimed at you! If you are unable to join us on the night of the Grand Final and are sending someone else in your place – you must let us know beforehand by texting Laura on the number above
- Creative HEAD and the venue reserve the right to refuse admission and remove anybody who is, or appears to be, acting in an intoxicated, dangerous or threatening manner or who is displaying bullying, harassing or disrespectful behaviour
