Five facts about Most Wanted and the It List 2023

We are go! The Most Wanted and It List awards 2023 have launched. Here’s some important insight about entering this year

1. THE AWARDS ARE OPEN TO EVERYONE

Whether you’re a business owner, work in a salon or barber shop, are self-employed, freelance, or session-based, there’s an award for everyone. Choose from 16 Most Wanted awards searching for top-notch teams, stand-out creatives, community beacons, exceptional educators and more, as well as six It List categories for those aged 30 and under, from salon stars to editorial artists.

2. ENTRY CRITERIA HAS BEEN PARED BACK

What is it people say – less is more? This year we’ve reduced the criteria in general, across the awards, so that you can include more detail about the projects and highlights you’d most like to focus on. Where in previous years there may have been three case studies or parts to the entry, you may find there are only now one or two.

3. WE’VE GOT EXTRA VIDEO OPTIONS

Not keen on writing? For 2023, we’ve increased the opportunities to submit video rather than written work should you prefer. Phone-recorded footage is fine, you don’t have to be Greta Gerwig (unless you want to show off those director skills of course…).

4. ENTRY SUBMISSION IS EASIER

We’ve introduced a new, simple upload form for entries this year, so when you’re ready, you can use this to attach your precious work and get it to us. If you need a hand with the entry process, just call +44 (0)20 7324 7540. The deadline for entries is midnight on Monday 22 May 2023.

5. REMEMBER, MWIT’S MORE THAN AN AWARD

A Most Wanted and It List award win isn’t limited to a trophy and title, it’s an opportunity magnet. Past winners have told us they’ve experienced increased client footfall, bookings by global brands, business expansion and signing to top-tier talent agencies, to name a few benefits.
