On Monday 20 November, Creative HEAD is hosting its final Coterie event of the year, bringing together a collection of hair and fashion collaborators, whose creative connections are setting their feeds on fire, seeing their profiles soar, and nourishing their art-hungry souls. Drinks, networking, plenty of conversation…it’s all in store, and we hope you’ll join us! Tickets cost £15 plus VAT, including an open bar and a gift from event sponsor, JOICO.
On the agenda?
We’re talking discussions between collaborative duos including make-up artist Czar Joshua Ventura and session stylist Laura Chadwick, whose combined credits list major fashion houses like Chanel, Dior, Givenchy and Mugler alongside acclaimed publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Grazia and Rolling Stones. Together, they’ve worked on collections and campaigns for designers like Patrick McDowell and fashion brand, Pinko, and on singer Becky Hill’s glam squad – and more editorial projects than we can count!
You’ll also hear from master crafter, Adam Garland. A former art director at Toni&Guy and longstanding member of Sam McKnight’s hair team, Adam’s well-honed session skills see him these days regularly booked by big titles and brands including Dazed, i-D, Vogue, Boss, Gentle Monster and Zara. Adored by his creative partners, such as fashion photographer, Daisy Walker, and musician Alison Goldfrapp, Adam recently joined forces with fashion label, Harri (the designer behind Sam Smith’s latex-adorned look for the Brit Awards 2023), on his debut runway show at LFW.
And we’ll be sitting down, too, with Darcie Harvey. The Manchester-based hairdresser is impressing teams on set with her people skills as well as creative clout, and she’s fast on the ascent in session circles. Named ‘The Editorial Stylist’ at Creative HEAD’s 2023 It List Awards, Darcie already has an agent – and an impressive body of work. Styling Lioness, Chloe Kelly, for a Grazia front cover, is one of her proudest projects to date. We can’t wait to hear all about her shared adventures.
And we’ve more speakers to be announced!
The Coterie will be hosted at Stā Studios in London – Samantha Cusick’s new co-working space for hair and beauty creatives. Just a few minutes’ walk from Bank station, Sam’s airy, modern, and state-of-the-art venue will provide the perfect place to come together.
