The Headmasters Awards returned to celebrate their 40th anniversary and the achievements across the salons over the past year
Kickstarting 2023 with celebrations, the annual Headmasters Awards returned to Battersea Evolution last week to recognise the impressive achievements of the salon group in the past year. Hosted by comedian and celebrity presenter Joel Dommett, the ceremony saw over 700 Headmasters team members come together to raise a glass (or two!) for the 40th anniversary.
The evening began with an impressive, theatrical hair show directed by Headmasters creative ambassadors Sian Quinn, Clare Hansford , Danielle Louis, and Nicole Iroh and was an energetic, feel-good introduction to the evening.
Celebrating a milestone year, a number of team members were given special recognition for their 20 years and 10 years of service. An outstanding 48 stylists made the A list and a, lucky-for-some, 13 team members reached the most exclusive Honours List.
The Headmasters Awards were comprised of eleven categories from creativity to business, honouring the runner up and winner from each category, plus a brand-new award for 2022, Digital Salon of the Year.
The final, most anticipated award of the evening was the live raffle – an ongoing competition throughout the year that stylists had been working towards. For every client that had a colour appointment, one raffle ticket was added with the stylist’s name for the ‘Every Colour Counts’ award. The big prize? One lucky hairdresser received a £10,000 voucher to spend at Selfridges.
So, without further ado, the winners of the evening are…
