L’Oréal legend Arthur Ehoff to retire

For any salon part of the L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Portfolio, Arthur Ehoff is, quite simply, a legend

For decades Arthur Ehoff has been the man on hand to help build salon growth, to quiz on any salon business headaches and to ensure that everyone on one of the infamous Portfolio trips has a visit to remember (or perhaps leave with rather hazy memories…).

The key accounts director for L’Oréal Professional Products UK & Ireland will now retire from the L’Oréal Group after 30 years, and we can’t help but think life just isn’t going to be quite the same without this ebullient personality, a guaranteed presence at every L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final. And who can forget his top fundraiser status for The Hairdressers’ Charity in 2017 on a group bike ride in Bologna?

While he isn’t disappearing entirely – a little birdie tells us he’ll be carrying on in a consultancy role – we know lots of salons feel the same as us about his imminent retirement from daily L’Oréal life, so we wanted to share a few words from some of those who have worked closely with Arthur over the years…

Mark Woolley, Electric Hairdressing

Mia Dellicompagni, Francesco Group

Joshua and Jason Miller, Charlie Miller

Catherine Handcock, Creative HEAD Publisher
