L’Oréal Professionnel styles V&A’s latest Fashion in Motion show

MaintopL’Oréal Professionnel, supported by the Richard Ward hair team, has styled the hair for the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Fashion in Motion show, featuring designer Christopher Raeburn.

Led by Cristiano Basciu, the hair team created simple, low ponytails that covered the ears for the female models using L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART Pli, Super Dust and Liss Control+, and slick, low-key quiffs for the men using L’Oréal Professionnel Homme Wax.

“The show is a retrospective look at some of Christopher Raeburn’s key pieces from his collections over the years, so we needed to keep the hair quite simple so that it would complement all of the clothes,” explained Cristiano.

L’Oréal Professionnel has had a long-standing fashion connection with the V&A Museum for a number of years, creating the hair for some of the most revered designers of our time.

Previous designers that have featured in the Fashion in Motion series include Ashish, Alexander McQueen, Erdem, Gareth Pugh, Giles Deacon, Jean Paul Gaultier, Jenny Packham, Meadham Kirchhoff, Missoni and Vivienne Westwood.
