Marc Antoni’s Bruno Marc Giamattei and Dan Spiller have been inspiring potential competitors at a Wella TrendVision Award Insight Event in London.
The show, at the Wella World Studio, was designed to give hairdressers in the audience expert advice on entering 2015’s TrendVision Award. The team from Marc Antoni illustrated their interpretations of this year’s two trends. The Journey to Enlightenment combines light qualities with soft colours, while The New Frontier uses spicy shades and untamed textures.
There was plenty of advice on how to make sure your TrendVision entry stands out from the crowd. Last year’s Young Talent Platinum Award winner, Nestor Sanchez Gomez from HOB Salons, told the audience about the importance of picking the right model and trend, while Sue Comery, from Zullo & Holland, discussed how winning UK Gold in 2014’s Color Vision category has changed her career.
The competition, now in its 12th year, has two entrance categories – Young Talent, for those up to the age of 30, and the reinvented Color Vision, open to all.
Successful hairdressers who make it through the regional heats will compete in London for the chance to represent the UK in the International Final in Berlin. Prizes for winners include major PR opportunities, mentoring programmes and training.
To enter 2015’s competition, request an entry pack by calling 0845 60180128. The closing date is 27 March.
