We know there’s a lot of brands out there – how do you know which one is for you? If you’re looking for a supportive yet creative bunch to bounce ideas around and learn from, then Matrix might be the brand for you. The Matrix community is a melting point of styles, yet everyone is welcome. Creatives… assemble!

Matrix has created the Colour Collective, a wider community movement attracting inspirational, creative, individual and authentic colour specialists; a mix of eclectic, fresh and unique talent. Whether a salon employee or a freelancer working independently, hairdressers come together to find inspiration through ideas and skills, sharing and learning from one another.

We asked three Matrix artists what they love about the brand –  and why they think you might love it too…

“Matrix has a real sense of community. So whether I need help with a formula or a colour that I can’t work out, right through to education or business advice – it’s all there and available! But support runs so much deeper than that. Recently I had my baby girl and had to take some time-off from the salon and from education. It was really nerve-wracking going back, but Matrix really supported me through it and gave me all the tools and all the help to get me back in the salon.”” – Rosie Briscoe (@rosiebriscoehair), UK Matrix artist

“I really love that feeling that when we are all together, no matter where we are in the world, there is always an amazing electric energy in the room. We really do feel like one big family, that truly support each other and lift each other up. Everyone you meet from the Matrix community has an infectious positivity, which makes working them so enjoyable.

From working with the brand for 16 years I have seen them grow so much but always keep their core values of the importance of education. Matrix are constantly developing and pushing forward, producing a well-rounded product and colour portfolio that is fun and exciting to use in every situation. The new restage of the brand is bold, brave and fresh! The whole launch has created a lot of buzz, and I feel Matrix have really thought about everything to fit every  ethnicity, hair texture and personality. It feels powerful!” – Ria Kulik (@riak_hair), UK Matrix artist

“What do I love most about Matrix? It’s got to be the diversity. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, it’s cool to be independent and different – and Matrix embraces it” – Simon Townley (@simontownley), UK Matrix artist
