My #MyTrendVision Journey

Preparing for the Wella TrendVision 2020 final

Over the past couple of weeks, Creative HEAD digital editor Alison Rowley has been catching up with our #MyTrendVision Spotlight Competitors (and their bosses!) over Zoom as they prepared to shoot their looks for the TVA UK & Ireland Digital Final.

In true Wella style, competitors were fully supported throughout this concluding stage of the competition with digital mentoring that included video briefs, Zoom guidance sessions and top tips from judges. And in individual calls with Alison, each duo (and one trio) reflected on their TVA journeys so far and discussed how finalising – in a particularly strange and challenging year for the hairdressing industry – has impacted both them personally, and across the wider salon network (including colleagues, clients and the business overall).

Insight, honesty and plenty of laughs – watch how those conversations played out below, while also enjoying a sneak peek into the minds of each competitor. We’ve got exclusive video clips from their shoots, copies of their mood boards, and behind-the-scenes photos they snapped of their process as they got to work…
