Next month a new high-profile ad campaign will air on TV showcasing the exciting opportunities that come with a career in hairdressing – and you have the chance to link your salon to it.

Not ‘Just’ A Hairdresser stars 12 real-life hair pros working in a range of environments, showcasing the creativity, skill, diversity, entrepreneurialism and innovation that characterises a career in hairdressing now.

The campaign, created by Creative HEAD and The Hairdressing Industry CIC, will launch on TV on October 3 during the first episode of E4’s The Big Blow-Out, the new Bake Off-style show starring Sam McKnight and Lisa Farrall, and will continue for the next three episodes. A specially designed YouTube and Instagram campaign will also run from September 26.

Wherever they see the campaign, audiences will be directed to the-industry.co.uk, where they can meet all 12 hair pros, find out how to get started in hairdressing and get connected to salons looking to hire apprentices.
