Long term colleagues, Lisa Farrall and Lindsey Murphy chat styling on-set and how to make blonde pop on camera on The Blonde Conversation
The Blonde Conversation is a new podcast series in exclusive partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, Redken, Matrix and Kérastase – where you’ll hear from leading hair colourists and their blonde allies, as they chat, unpack and debate everything about blonde.
Session stylist and hair equality activist, Lisa Farrall spills the tea alongside her right-hand girl, Lindsey Murphy on the power of blonde, speaking matter of factly about how blondes get noticed more and why celebrities go blonde in times of crisis.
With an estimated 600 blonde transformations done together, Lisa and Lindsey have seen and experienced it all – from clients basing their colour requests on images of their pets (yes really), to explosive hair reactions. Most notable for their triumphs on-set – they have styled some of the biggest international music artists in the game. Listen as Lisa divulges the realities and pressures of dealing with celebrity demands and briefs and reveals her top industry secrets on how to make blonde hair pop on camera.
Champions of hair education too, Lisa chats with Lindsey about the importance of ensuring all hairdressers are taught to work with every hair type from the get-go – and, explains how WIG London promotes all of this and more…
