Earlier this year, we threw open the doors to one very exclusive pop-up dedicated to all things glazing, but we weren’t icing doughnuts oh no, there were 20 magical models awaiting a coating of zero damage, zero lift Shinefinity colour by Wella Professionals. A quartet of trend-loving team leaders; Daisy Goord, James Earnshaw, Jordanna Cobella and Zoë Irwin, each chose a palette they deemed pure perfection and what went down was a glaze of glory…

If you’ve never peeked at Daisy Goord’s insta, get yourself over there. It’s full of enviously bright, platinum blondes, silver Rapunzel-esque strands and jaw-dropping transformations. So, when we flung open the doors to our House of Glaze, it’s no surprise she selected a quartet of tones that are as cool as ice for her talented team…

Started with: Pre-lightened hair
Shinefinity Formula: Iced Platinum 09/61, Toffee Milk 09/13 and Crystal Glaze booster
Application: All over glaze applying to the roots first. Left on the back for 20 minutes and the front for about 15 minutes as hair was slightly more porous around the hairline

Polar opposite and loving those hotter climes is team warm, led by Jordanna Cobella. An artist with a handle on toasty tones and instinct for client demands, she turned her temperature gauge to full blast with feisty copper and spicy ginger, giving a nostalgic nod to the trending ‘70s revival.

Subtlety can speak volumes and Zoë Irwin is a master of this art form. Drawing on a new palette of modern nudes for her naturally talented team, she chose to spotlight softness and high shine – that luxe, expensive hair that’s got TikTok in a tizz.

Started with: Pre-lightened hair
Shinefinity Formula: Dark Sage 06/07, Beige Sand 09/07 and Soft Sage 09/02
Application: Dark Sage was applied on the base and using fingers Beige Sand and Soft Sage were blended into the mid-section, working down the hair. Soft Sage was also applied to pre-lightened areas around the face using fingers.
