Ruffians teams up with Wild Game Co. to launch pop-up supper club

Things got a little wild in Ruffians, Covent Garden last Wednesday (15 April). The Most Wanted Best Salon Experience award winners transformed their premises into a restaurant for the night, with the help of Fitzrovia restauranteurs (and fellow Scotsmen), Wild Game Co.

Featuring an all inclusive three-course menu (and with each dish accompanied by a carefully matched dram of Jura Whisky), the barber shop supper-club had a buzzing, upmarket canteen atmosphere. Fresh venison burgers were served alongside bubbling conversation and top customer service from both sets of staff. Over 80 covers were catered to during the evening, with guests including Ruffians clients, food bloggers and writers, sports stars and actors.

“This is exactly what we’re about at Ruffians,” said the barber shop’s MD Andrew Cannon of the night, “exciting partnerships with like-minded brands. Not only does this offer something extra for our client, who can really integrate him/herself in the Ruffians community, but it also gives an opportunity for our Ruffians team to have some fun, do something different in the evenings, and get to know their clients outside of a work environment”.

“We are super jealous of Ruffians having such an excellent space in a prime historic central London location!” added Wild Game Co.’s Adam Pinder. “Their barber shop turned into a beautiful and intimate setting which is perfect for a restaurant – you wouldn’t quite believe the transformation and how happy we are to have worked with their team and to have been part of this exciting new venture”.
