Creative HEAD’s business networking event is back to tackle the big topics impacting hair professionals right now
Following two years of worldwide interruption, Creative HEAD’s business networking event for salon and barbershop owners and managers returns to Ireland’s capital city on Monday 7 November.
Book a Salon Smart ticket and enjoy a full day of solo talks, panel sessions, live Q&A, and unique opportunities to meet, mix and learn from fellow hairdressers. The packed programme is crammed with ideas and advice, will share first-hand experiences, and is designed with one goal in mind: to help you build a better business. No lectures, just the stuff you want to know!
Across seven hours, more than 20 speakers will take to the Salon Smart stage, bringing insight and expertise. Sessions will cover big subjects including recruitment and retention – Hellen Ward of Salon Employers Association and co-founder of Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa will be sharing her advice on finding employees (and how to keep them), and team spirit – Wildflower’s Danielle Garner will reveal her secrets to forging a happy and motivated workforce. Also on the agenda, talks on salon culture and collaborative learning – and there’s no sugar-coating at Salon Smart; our speakers will be talking candidly about mistakes made as well as successes enjoyed – it’s the only way to learn, right?
Get a ‘behind the scenes’ look at how one salon squad operates in our ever-popular ‘Team Talk’ segment, then have your business questions answered by our expert panel. Joining us: Paul Hession, owner of Paul Hession Hairdressing – sharing the significance of workplace mental wellbeing; Patrick Gildea, owner of Patrick Gildea Hairdressing, bringing his expert perspective on the client experience; Irish Hair Federation’s vice president and owner of Zinc Hair & Beauty, Lisa Eccles – ready to provide support and guidance on industry matters; and Vanilla Hair Studio owner Samantha Byrne, sharing her insight into educating hairdressing’s next generation.
Brand new for 2022, ‘All talk, more action’ will deliver simple steps to act now on two key business concerns: sustainability and texture equality. Andrew Mulvenna of Andrew Mulvenna Hair , Lorraine Naughton of OB-1 Hair and Moyo Hair‘s Kevin Bodenham. And take the lead from texture experts: Claire Martin-Kennedy of cLHair, Marco Dias, founder of The Studio by Marco Dias and Laura Murphy of The Hair Space Galway.
To top it all, Salon Smart’s event partner, L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, will have a team on-hand throughout the day to discuss your business needs and challenges, and share news on the product innovations you’ll want to showcase on your shelves.
