MARCUS ALLEN… ON HIRING AND FIRING

He’s back! After a scintillating performance at Salon Smart 2014, the group head of salon at Urban Retreat Harrods returns with a unique presentation that will resonate with salon owners and managers across the land. Why? Because Marcus is going to talk about recruitment – the single biggest challenge you face, according to your feedback from last year’s event.

Between now and March 2016 Marcus needs to employ 10 new team members, and he’s going to keep a diary of his experiences – from working out the best way to “sell” the job, to tracking the progress of his new recruits as they make their way out onto the salon floor.
