Jackie Ambrose
My happy place…
“My happy place is seeing something in the arts that I have never seen before. This makes me happy on all levels!”
What I’m reading at the moment…
“At the moment I’m reading two books – Atomic Habits by James Clear and a book on illustrations of fashion through the different eras. My favourite fashion designer is Dior, particularly the late 1940s collections.”
My favourite way to start the day…
“My favourite way to start the day is definitely when I’m on holiday and under no time pressure – with no schedule! The thing I’m most excited about for the next six months is a trip to Croatia.”
The hardest lesson…
“The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that you never know what’s coming, so don’t sweat the small stuff. If I could tell my 18-year-old self anything, it would be that!”
On how to switch off…
“My favourite way to switch off is doing anything outdoors, as I find the natural environment very calming.”
On my playlist right now…
“I’m really enjoying relaxing music! At the moment, I’m listing to a playlist called ‘The best of beats to relax to.'”
My favourite way to start the day…
“My favourite way to start the day is with a super-creamy, sweet cappuccino, followed by an ice shower to get my day going.”
The most memorable moment of my career…
“My most memorable moment of my career was getting the opportunity to working alongside Sam McKnight in Dubai.”
My key piece of advice…
“I think it’s really important to live in the moment… and listen to good music!”
Me in three words…
“Off-beat, non-conformist and calm.”
