The 2016 Goldwell Color Zoom UK Tour got off to a high-powered start over the weekend, as the D!SRUPT collection had its first live showing at London’s Royal Horticultural Halls.
In a collision of colour, shape, texture and thumping sound, models decked out in Mad Max-inspired leather outfits stormed the runway. Dramatic lighting created a interplay between dense, sculpted shapes and the diffused edges of the hairstyles, as the anarchic army took their places on the stage.
Shane Bennett walked the audience through the rule-breaking looks, before global brand ambassador Mark Leeson demonstrated the colouring, cutting and styling techniques used create the dynamic, graphic and bristling styles of this year’s collection live on stage.
After touching down in Bristol last night (February 15), the next stop for the tour is Edinburgh. There, Neil Barton will join Mark Leeson to share his Goldwell Color Zoom story – from winning the first ever trophy back in 2010 to his time spent as part of the Global Creative and Artistic Teams.
