Why I chose this look…
“It reminded me of the Mavericks in 70s football, indie football culture and Panini sticker albums – plus, I thought it’d be great fun to show people on set.”
The cut…
“I used triangular sections through the nape area to reduce length and in the fringe to maintain weight. I then added a disconnected square layer on top, blended into slightly inverted sides and point cut with the scissors. I blow dried it all into shape then free-hand trimmed any remaining length to suit the style and silhouette.”
The styling…
“I wrap dried lengths naturally into shape using a small paddle brush, then scrunched up with volume styling powder to create a dishevelled look. I split the fringe to create a pageboy look, then finished with a light hairspray for hold.”
