Why I chose this lookâŚ
“Itâs a nod to classics over the years, gentleman-like and groomed. I thought it would be a nice place to start, considering my barbering background.”
The cutâŚ
“The sides were disconnected, then scissored and slightly clippered into a natural taper. I worked more aggressively through the nape and then naturally through the sides. The top was cut very square, then moving back to hug the crown slightly, then blow-dried back and sliced from front to rear to help with movement and direction.”
The stylingâŚ
“The back was blow-dried smooth using sea salt spray. I scraped the top section back and into place after applying a matte clay. Using a wide tooth comb, I then styled it all into a natural part.”
