Adam Reed and Sarah Black of Adam Reed London talk collaboration and communication in the final episode of our ‘Spotlight’ video series
After taking a look behind the lens at five powerhouse pairings, it’s time for the last episode of ‘Spotlight’. Created in partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, we’ve given you exclusive insight into the working lives of six dynamic duos, each with a unique hair story to share. Across the six short videos, we explore the worlds of salon, session and business, giving you a fly-on-the-wall perspective of award-winning salon brands.
In episode six, we sat down with Adam Reed, founder of Adam Reed London, and his colour director, Sarah Black. A salon in the traditional sense, where the curiously creative and creatively curious gather, Adam and Sarah reflect on their time working under one roof, and talk candidly about the business benefits of being more open. As well as developing the colour business, they have found a much more progressive way of working, with collaborative conversation being key for all within the team. Discussing the value of talking and creating, the duo shares a fresh take on togetherness as they pinpoint what’s important to ongoing success.
