At just 25 years old, Harriet Stokes has already created a serious name for herself in the world of professional hairdressing. Hailing from a family of hairdressers, her career path was somewhat inevitable and since starting her training aged just 14, she has never looked back. Fast forward eleven years and Harriet has a wealth of experience under her belt, admired for her impeccable styling and colouring. In 2020, with her reputation soaring, she took the brave decision to go freelance.
Aside from her work behind the chair, Harriet is also as an inspiring and sought-after educator. She has taught across four continents, sharing her skills with audiences in South Africa, India, Australia and France. It’s a passion that became a calling, which subsequently led her to unveil a new education business, Humankind Hair, with fellow hairdresser Anneliese Hesse, as well as becoming a L’Oréal guest artist for 2021.
