With more than 30 years’ experience as a salon owner, session stylist and – latterly – as global head of education for ghd, it’s no wonder Jo Robertson says “the hair industry is in my blood”. Now she’s gone solo with her own business and a blog that sheds light on life as a stylist in a changing world. Having travelled the world teaching hair, been exposed to many brands that have each taught her something, Jo has learnt that to do nothing is moving backwards, that mistakes are learnings and that the future is always changing. “We need to try new things, in order to pass on our experience and gain from that of others.
