Globe-trotting artist Leah Hayden Cassidy is a master of men’s hair! From bespoke educational workshops in Brazil and Moscow to managing barber shops in Berlin and Dublin, Leah is also regularly booked for fashion and editorial shoots, and has collaborated on campaigns for the likes of FILA and Topman.
Born in Ireland and now based in London, Leah owns a creative studio space in Hackney, UNIT8 by Hayden, which she opened in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic – at the same time, launching her own product line.
Passionate about education, Leah shares her barbering knowledge and expertise through inspiring tutorials, and she’s built a firm following and a strong reputation as a result. This dedication to her craft has also led to a wealth of opportunities including her role as a global educator for electrical tool brand Andis, which has seen her headline the barbering stages at major events including Cosmoprof Bologna, On Hair Turin and Barber Con NYC.
In March 2021, Leah was named The It Girl at the 2021 It List Awards, presented by Creative HEAD magazine in exclusive partnership with ghd.
