Lee Stafford to tell his story at Salon Smart 2015

It was in his mother’s living room, cutting and colouring the hair of family members and friends, that Lee Stafford cut his teeth in hairdressing…

… Fast forward a few decades and he’s one of the world’s most recognisable names in the industry, watched by millions on television shows ranging from This Morning, The Hairdresser and Celebrity Scissorhands to Big Brother and The Secret Millionaire, and acquiring a massive following of hairdressers all over the globe.

Lee’s opened salons, styled celebrities, presented at some of the industry’s biggest events, won myriad awards (including Creative HEAD’s Influential Hairdresser title back in 2002!) and his booming consumer product line – launched in Boots in 2002 and now sold in over 40 markets worldwide – has proved to be pivotal to his business success. And then just two years ago, Lee fulfilled a life-long dream with the opening of the 7,500 square foot Lee Stafford Academy in Essex, where he and his team provide unique training to budding hair artists.
