Marcus Allen – international salon manager, educator, business mentor and also a trained hairdresser with an incredible track record of creating successful businesses. From helping launch the original Urban Retreat business in Harvey Nichols Leeds, London, Edinburgh and Manchester to setting up and managing the successful Aveda Institute in Holborn, Marcus has been known as leading expert in his field for several years.

His success has taken him from being the Global Educational Director for UNITE Haircare to being appointed the Global Vice-President of The Refinery in Mayfair. And, most recently, Marcus has been employed as the General Manager at Electric Space – London’s largest creative co-working space, with 28 hairdressing stations, a barbershop, cinema, members lounge and a variety of other amenities!

As an established name in the trade, Marcus has been a sort-after guest speaker and presenter for many leading industry events such as Creative HEAD’s very own Salon Smart, Phorest Software, 365 and Data Driven for Salon Today. On top of all of this, over the last five years Marcus has also been part of a team of designers preferred session stylists at London, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks!
