Salon Smart speaker wins top award for best venue
Surrey wedding venue is voted best in England – meet the brains behind it at Salon Smart 2015!
Fetcham Park is a spectacular wedding and events venue in Surrey. The Grade II listed building – nestled amongst tranquil grounds and gardens – is over 300 years old and, since 2011, has been available for hire; a dream space in which to wed. In fact, so fabulous is Fetcham Park and the service it provides, brides and grooms all over the country have voted it Best Town/City Wedding Venue in England at the 2015 Wedding Industry Awards.
Clearly, there’s a serious business head behind the venue’s success – and she is director Laura Caudery (pictured above). A former marketing specialist in the luxury market, working for big brands including Burberry and Alfred Dunhill, Laura understands the need for a professional, polished and personal approach to all the services she provides – from accommodating film and photographic crews flocking to Fetcham for location work, to daily contact with brides-to-be via the company’s social networking sites.
Says Victoria Stanton, marketing manager at Fetcham Park: “The Wedding Industry Awards are the only independent awards that are voted for by couples who have actually experienced any given service. Couples were invited to score the service they received out of 10 and comment on their general experience. Only after the awards had been announced were we given access to these anonymous scores and remarks…. Nothing prepared us for the thoroughly beautiful and entirely humbling words that awaiting us.”
The best bit? Laura – who recently spoke at the Social Media World Forum – will be talking on the mainstage at Salon Smart on Monday 27 April 2015.
