STREAM ON: WHAT WE LEARNED AT SALON SMART LIVE 2020 #SalonSmartLive

Just because we couldn’t be in a hotel together didn’t mean the learning and the sharing had to stop – Salon Smart Live brought it all, and more!

It may have been a little later than planned, but nothing could stop Salon Smart from inspiring and connecting salon owners and hairdressers across the UK! For the first time ever, Salon Smart went fully virtual, a live experience beamed onto laptops and mobile phone screens with interactive elements such as instant polls and questions pinged right to the incredible line-up of industry experts.

It was amazing that we could get together in this way, especially after such a turbulent year for us all. The aim of Salon Smart was to discuss the next steps, to reconnect, listen to each other and learn new ideas to put into our businesses to move them forward – planning and preparing for the future, whatever that might look like.

All carefully social distanced and PPE applied, the Salon Smart Live studio played host to our amazing programme of speakers, with the Working Lunch sessions seeing brilliant business and creative experts from our associate sponsors joining remotely to share insights on essential subjects such as successful email marketing and building a brilliant team… and all were there to take the audience’s questions too and offer real help and support during such a challenging time.

So, the scene is set… but what did we really learn from Salon Smart Live? Well, let’s have a little look…
