LCT IN THREE! Emotional, rewarding, innovative!

“Throughout the process and winning L’Oréal Colour Trophy, we grew so much as hairstylists… and emotionally too! It’s easy to put yourself down and compare when working in an industry with so much talent. However, the process taught us a lot of resilience, how to push boundaries and to believe and trust in yourself.

The minute our names were called out, we looked at each other and cried! The experience has been a huge ‘pinch us’ moment.

“The impact on the salon and business has been incredible. We received so much support from our lovely clients but also Scullion and Scot has gained much more exposure too. Our little Sheffield salon had just celebrated its second birthday, so to bring home the L’Oréal Colour Trophy was huge for us as a team.

“For anyone planning their entry right now? Don’t overthink it! Find your concept, find your passion and let everything else flow from there.”

L’ORÉAL COLOUR TROPHY IRELAND WINNERS
Augusto Miranda and Mark Sherwood, Zeba Hairdressing

LCT IN THREE! Rollercoaster, fulfilling, inspirational!

“Winning Colour Trophy has been a dream! Hearing our names called out as the overall winner was an experience that cannot be described. The whole night was just incredible – we really felt the love of the entire crowd.

“It has been great for business and has driven new clients into our doors. We’ve noticed more referrals from current clients as they tell their friends that their hairdresser won a big competition! Word of mouth is the best way to gain new clients, so anything that excites your current clientele and allows them to talk about you is a good thing.

“For the team it was a great morale boost and we had a big party to celebrate in the weeks after. It has spurred on the team to elevate themselves and it has encouraged the apprentices, knowing that anything is possible if you put your head down and focus. Many are planning on entering the STAR Award this year!”
